The Real Time Canine II

After spending 2 years writing the Real Time Canine, the adventure continues with The Real Time Canine II. Read along as I look for just the right puppy to continue the experience. After false starts with Tim and Jed, I am currently training young Tam, and Spot, which are both off to a strong start. Please visit the RTC II to read about training sessions as they occur.

Cover Dog

Mr. Keppie made the big time. This photo was taken by Barb Klein of my former Kep, now owned by Nancy Starkey who submitted it to the 2008 Land Rover World Sheepdog Trial photo contest. Barb's photo won, along with 2 others, but it is the one that has been chosen for the cover of the event's commenorative calendar. For information about the World Trial and to buy the calendar, please visit their website .
Kep is sound asleep with me in this photo taken at Ken Willard's trial in Oregon when he was about 3 months old. It didn't win any contests, but is one of my personal favorites.
Kep now makes his living on Nancy's pure-bred Bluefaced Leicester sheep farm in Mt Airy, Maryland and from all reports is fitting in quite nicely. Congrats to Barb Klein on the winning photo and to Nancy for qualifying Kep to the 2008 USBCHA National Nursery Finals. Please visit the Trial and Error Acres Farm website.
