The Real Time Canine II

After spending 2 years writing the Real Time Canine, the adventure continues with The Real Time Canine II. Read along as I look for just the right puppy to continue the experience. After false starts with Tim and Jed, I am currently training young Tam, and Spot, which are both off to a strong start. Please visit the RTC II to read about training sessions as they occur.

Swiss gifts, part Deux

My new friends from Switzerland have checked in with more breathtaking photos of their mountain home. The caption in the first one says "View from our balcony today." The second is one of the lambs with their pet mastiff, that is apparently irrestible to them. Katherina says the lambs love to snuggle with him. Indeed!
I am truly captivated by these photos of a land where there must be no flat ground except at the top and bottom of the mountains.
I live in Southern California, kind of like a lizard in the sun, where the temperature topped out the other day just over 100F and we're currently preparing for this year's fire season. Clearly the trade off in Switzerland is cold weather for magnificence and beauty. Thought I'd share with you.
