The Real Time Canine II

After spending 2 years writing the Real Time Canine, the adventure continues with The Real Time Canine II. Read along as I look for just the right puppy to continue the experience. After false starts with Tim and Jed, I am currently training young Tam, and Spot, which are both off to a strong start. Please visit the RTC II to read about training sessions as they occur.

A Tribute in Photos

Ex-pat Kiwis, Angie Driscoll and Kelvin Broad of currently Welsh-based Kinloch Sheepdogs, have just published this limited edition photographic ode to sheepdogs from around the world. Using their talents from behind the camera, they have captured compelling images of our amazing dogs and compiled them in this hard cover offering. I have already reserved my copy. Please click here for more information about how you can do the same.
There are 130 color photographs, including 52 featured dogs and hands from 19 countries around the world. Some photos represent the work of photographic talent other than Angie and Kelvin and the book records some of the best and brightest sheepdogs alive today. It will surely remain a brilliant look back.

Previous design projects completed by these 2 include the 2008 World Trial official program and commemorative calendar. If you haven't already been there, I recommend a visit to their website. It's crammed with stunning photographs of our dogs and is a useful repository of the results (and more striking photos) from dog trials overseas.

  1. Amelia-

I have already reserved my copy of The World of Sheepdogs. It looks like it will be a treasured keepsake. Angie is such a nice gal to boot too. :-)
