The Real Time Canine II

After spending 2 years writing the Real Time Canine, the adventure continues with The Real Time Canine II. Read along as I look for just the right puppy to continue the experience. After false starts with Tim and Jed, I am currently training young Tam, and Spot, which are both off to a strong start. Please visit the RTC II to read about training sessions as they occur.

Girl Power!

18 for 18 baby! Zenyatta has most often carried the most weight, between 127 and 129lbs. Come from behind? Never any trouble in traffic. Distance? 6/5 furlongs to 1 1/4 mi, no problem. Post position? Matters not. Speed horses? Zenyatta runs 'em down. Beat by the boys? Only filly to win the Breeder's Cup Classic.

Between Flores and Smith, she's never had a bad ride. That and exceptional training by Shirreffs helped to create a once in a lifetime horse, in my humble opinion. I love to watch her break...like a rocket. Slow and steady, in stages, then burning brightly, straight into outer space.
